Developing a Growth Mindset Classroom Part II: 6 Week Challenge
This course is for K-12 educators who have previously taken my “Developing a Growth Mindset Classroom” course. This course guides participants through weekly challenges and supports educators as they work to implement the principles of Growth Mindset in their classrooms. The course will meet live for one hour a week for six weeks over zoom. The other allotted hour a week is to read, respond, plan for the weekly challenge.

Hands on Math
Take your current math lessons and make them multisensory to help students build stronger connections to the content. This course will go through principles and strategies to aid student understanding through manipulatives, gross motor activities, and how to reinforce and build strong foundational skills.

Best Practice Math Circles
Connect with colleagues and work through monthly challenges to incorporate mathematical best practices in your classroom. Have the accountability and support to implement positive change in your instruction. This course is responsive to the needs of the group. Monthly challenges will be based on group needs and desires.

Supporting All Students: Scaffolding Instruction of Math
The Supporting All Students Resource Guides were designed through collaboration between the NYSED and partners in the field. These guides were created to provide teachers with examples of scaffolds and strategies to supplement their instruction. In this workshop, we will explore these resource guides and discuss how to implement strategies and scaffold instruction to meet the needs of the students in your classroom.
